We all know who Idina Menzel right? She is a Tony Award winner and if you saw Disney’s Enchanted, well yeah, she’s that girl the prince ended up marrying. Idina Menzel will join Glee for the rest of its season.
Idina showed up in the set early this year and co-creater Brad Falchuk said she fit right in the first time she joined the show. Idina Menzel will be opposite Matthew Morrison as Vocal Adrenaline’s leader.
She started shooting small scenes with Matt Morrison. Falchuk commented that she was great, fun to work with and fun to direct.
Falchuk added: ”She and Matt had an immediate chemistry. … Her first scene — literally it was ‘Welcome aboard,’ and they had a big makeout scene. So it was interesting for her. It was like, welcome to the show.”
Whoa! A makeout scene between Matthew Morrison and Idina Menzel? Hmmm. What happens to Terri and Emma? We’ll find out when Glee returns on April 13.
