“Put yourself in their shoes for a change. Culturally, Madonna’s legacy transcends her music because by and large, the subtext of her songs are about being strong, independent, and confident no matter what your sex. But more than anything, Madonna’s musical message is about equality. And I think that is something you guys need to work on.”
“I’ll tell you who you are. You’re a scared little boy. You’re afraid of dating me because you think it might hurt your reputation, though which you’d never admit it is very important to you. You hate what Quinn did to you not just because it hurt but because it’s so humiliating. I just see you for who you are, unlike you who could only see me as this silly girl who made a fool out of herself in our first glee club rehearsal. And that’s where you lose, Finn. Because if you take a second look at me, you would realize that I’m the only person in your life who knows you and accepts you for who you are no matter what.”
Five of the Glee cast, namely, Cory, Lea, Jane, Idina, and Jonathan, had their interviews about the back nine episodes of Glee. Check out these videos and hear what they’ve got to say.
Aside from the Madonna episode of Glee on its comeback, we will also be surprised of Sue Sylvester‘s singing debut. Jane Lynch, who plays the hateful/lovable cheer leading coach will be singing the classic 80′s song, “Let’s Get Physical“. And one more thing, she’ll be singing it with the song’s originator herself, Grease star Olivia Newton-John.
Lynch leaked out that she’s always been a fan of Olivia Newton-John. Even her dog was named after her! Ryan Murphy, creator of Glee, also mentioned when the show was just starting that Olivia Newton-John would be a great guest star in one of the episodes. Murphy stated, “”Wouldn’t it be great if we could get Olivia Newton-John on?”. All it took to get Olivia was Jane Lynch’s pleading and sending copies of the Glee episodes to Olivia.
Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) went on The Bonnie Hunt Show, and she talked about choir in high school and working with Meryl Streep in Julie & Julia. Enjoy!
