Last April 5, 2010, the Glee Cast had a very exciting day meeting the Obamas during the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, a tradition that dates back to 1878. The event started with Amber Riley singing the national anthem. She’s just amazing! The rest of the cast also performed some of our favorite tracks from Glee! The Easter Egg Roll
The Glee cast was invited by the Obama family, specifically Michelle Obama and the kids, to perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, a health and wellness event for the Easter, on April 5, 2010, Monday. Sources confirm that the Glee kids will really be there!
Rumors also say that Mrs. Obama and her kids are big fans of the TV show. Of course, the producers of Glee couldn’t resist an invitation from the White House so they really scheduled the Glee cast for a live performance.
